Agua Viva was born from faith, compassion, and a desire to turn love into action. What began as a personal calling to serve families in need has grown into a mission that brings together people who believe that even the smallest act of generosity can bring hope, dignity, and lasting impact.
Adriana Aponte
Founder & Director
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Adriana Aponte moved to the United States at the age of 25. Although she built a new life in the United States, a part of her heart always remained in Venezuela.
As a wife, mother, designer, cook, and woman of faith, Adriana has always carried a deep desire to serve and care for others. For years, she personally supported family members and people in need in Venezuela, but over time, she realized that there was only so much she could accomplish on her own.
She dreamed of creating something bigger—something that would allow others to join her in bringing help, hope, and faith to children and families facing difficult circumstances.
From that calling, Agua Viva was born.
Adriana also dedicated two years to biblical and ministry studies through Escuela Trasciende, led by Pastora Yesenia Then, an experience that strengthened her faith and heart for service.
Today, as Founder and Director of Agua Viva, Adriana leads the organization’s humanitarian efforts with a special commitment to children and families in need, both locally and internationally. She believes that serving others is more than an act of generosity—it is an expression of God’s love.
Her desire is for every person reached through Agua Viva to know that they are seen, valued, loved, and not forgotten.
Above all, Adriana considers Agua Viva a calling from God and seeks to use every donation, every partnership, and every opportunity to serve for His glory.

Jose Almodovar
Co-Founder & Secretary
Jose Almodovar is an entrepreneur, husband, father, and man of faith who has supported the vision of Agua Viva from its beginning.
Alongside Adriana, Jose has helped build and support the organization with a shared desire to serve God and care for people in need. His entrepreneurial experience and commitment to faith, family, and service contribute to Agua Viva’s continued growth and mission.
Together, Adriana and Jose believe that business, leadership, and resources can be used with purpose—to serve others and advance the work God has placed in their hands.
